Writer, producer, director based in Oslo, Norway. Worked previously as a short order cook and copywriter in New York City. Studied screenwriting at the University of Southern California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and Shakespeare in Performance at Wroxton College, England. Began working as a screenwriter, as well as producer/director of a daily cooking show for Norwegian television in 1989. Staff writer for ScreenTalk Magazine from 1998 to 2004.

National and international film and television awards give encouragement to a creative person working freelance. Life in Scandinavia is not half melancholy as Bergman would have it, though nothing beats NYC for a good bagel.
